At Extreme Performance Abrasives, we still believe in hard work and the American Dream, just like we learned from our family. My father grew up in Brooklyn in the 1940’s impoverished with a single parent due to the death of his father at an early age. Even with that uphill battle, he earned his way into Brooklyn Polytech Institute where he graduated with an interest in the sciences and engineering, which then laid the path for him to earn multiple advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering and several patents on manufacturing equipment.
He founded Kason Corporation in 1967, which is now a world renowned manufacturer of stainless steel equipment for the food, pharmaceuticals, and chemical industries. I worked at Kason beginning in my teen years, starting on the shop floor making products and, along with graduating from college, working my way up over 20 years to oversee manufacturing operations for all our facilities and eventually becoming an owner. When the family chose to sell the business in the early 2000’s, I started Lehigh Valley Abrasives, a company that supplied abrasives, tools, and product knowledge to fabricators throughout the United States. After significant growth, I sold Lehigh Valley Abrasives in 2016.
Now, I am excited to be engaged in a new venture, Extreme Performance Abrasives, which specializes in abrasives, tools and machinery for the fabrication of products. While the majority of abrasives offered in the USA are either low cost inferior imports from Asia or overpriced domestic made products, I still believe we can make great yet affordable products in the USA through hard work, ingenuity, and advanced product knowledge.
To that end, we have partnered with the best medium sized companies in the USA and Europe to bring to market superior products at low prices. By partnering with these companies, we are able to offer incredible products direct to the end user through our website at surprisingly low prices. We are effectively eliminating layers of middle men and layers of management, which results in overpriced products. Our partnerships allow us to offer the best products, at honest prices, made in the USA and Europe. All of the products we sell are made in the USA and Europe by workers who are paid a fair wage and operate with humane working conditions.
