The BESSEY rapid action clamps offer an interesting combination of features and benefits in a single clamp. The unusual internal mechanism means that the clamping bolt will move twice as far per handle turn as a normal ACME threaded spindle, this makes for very quick set-up times. This clamp also features a positive pinching action. The pressure pad cannot rotate; therefore, there can be no twisting action transferred to the surface of the work piece, as sometimes happens with regular swivel pads, keeping the work pieces from twisting out of alignment. The no-twist clamping action, robust contact surfaces and a heavy duty rail combine to produce an offering that allows for speed and strength.
